The Case
Originally, KiMs chose finance leasing for their sales car fleet to free up capital for the company’s operation and development. However, the company retained the administrative responsibilities for the car fleet and that demanded many resources. In the end, KIMs switched from finance leasing to operational leasing, a leasing option, which includes administration and assigns Nordania the risk and the job of selling the used cars. This solution reduced the administrative challenges connected with car fleets.
The Solution
Now, KiMs has a operating lease with Nordania on cars to sales representatives and executives. The lease covers financing, service, tires, administration of environmental tax and fuel. The rental includes all these items, which gives an accurate overview and makes it easy to use when preparing a budget. When the three-year lease expires, KiMs returns the cars without worrying about the risk or the residual value. These issues are handled by Nordania.

Furthermore, we don’t have to worry about problems with our cars on the road all over the country. Nordania Assistance takes care of any problems in cooperation with Falck, because that is included in the rental", says purchasing director at KiMs, Henrik Sidelmann.
